The Headquarters of the Naval Station "Aeroporto G Rosseti" !! One of the most beautiful buildings in the Blades area is the headquarters of the G Rossetti naval station, or the well-known 15th pavilion for the accommodation of psychiatric patients. A building that dominates the endless natural harbor of Lakki! In early 1923, construction work at the naval base progressed rapidly. With autonomous power supply, road construction, construction of dozens of buildings, piers, shelters for seaplanes, shelters, warehouses, underground fuel tanks, and dozens of other supporting works of the base, are controlled and monitored by men who manage the base from this building. On 24/5/1929, the building as well as Leros as a strategic base received a visit from the then King of Italy. In 1943, Leros was occupied by Hitler's German forces, and thus the Italian occupation of the Dodecanese, which lasted thirty-one years, also came to an end. From March 7, 1948, after the liberation and integration of the Dodecanese with Greece, the buildings became the property of the Greek state. Since then, until recently, this beautiful building has offered its services to the respective needs of the Greek public.
